· We believe that the Bible is the perfect and inerrant Word of God -

 II Tim 3:16, John 12:48

 

· We believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God and that He is eternal and part of the God-Head - Col 1:12-17,  Rom 1:20, John 1:1-3

 

· We believe that our relationship to God is based upon His invitation and our willing response to follow His will - John 14:21, Acts 5:32, Hebrews 5:9

 

· We believe that Gods will is that all people submit to Him through Jesus Christ and His Apostles - Eph 2:20, 3:5, II Peter 3:2

 

· We believe that our worship of God is to be done in accordance with the Apostles Doctrine as shown in Scripture - Acts 2:42, Rom 6:17, I Tim 4:6, 4:16

 

· We believe that souls are saved through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, and that we partake in that sacrifice through -  

- Faith in Jesus Christ (John 3:16)

- Repentance of our sins (Acts 2:38, Luke I3:3)

- Confession of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (Rom 10:9)

- Baptism (immersion) for the remission of sins in order to receive the indwelling Gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38, Acts 22:16, Mark 16:16, Gal 3:26-27)

 

· We believe that once we enter into salvation, we must be there after committed to the cause of Christ – 

 

- By assembling on the Lords day in order to break bread (Partake in the Lords Supper) and worship God.

- By living our lives in accordance with Gods will as it is revealed to us.

- By allowing the light of Christ to shine in us so that we may share the Gospel of Christ with others as we go.

 

    It is important to know that salvation is a process that we enter into. We do not clean ourselves up and then come to God - We SUBMIT to God, and then allow Him to work with us as we are transformed by the renewing of our minds.  Like all things, this takes time and commitment. Submit to God and have patience as He works with you and through you.
